老而又健壮的神木 (Ficus microcarpa )

榕树是一个很神秘，又带有浪漫的名字，我最先听过榕树是和一首日本“冬的恋歌”的中文翻译“榕树下”而知。榕树很有生命力，一个墙上的小洞，加点水和阳光，那你会在在十年内发现，墙上的小洞会长出一棵中树，绝对你无法很容易的清除的了，这一棵说有300年的老树，原本是很老态，而我却把它画的年轻很多。画老树皮和气根是我第一次，很不一样，惟有用铅笔硬把它挑出来，不知何时才有法子用水彩画出来。

F. microcarpa was widely distributed as an ornamental plant and is one of the most common street trees in warm climates. Such trees are considered to be very aggressive, as they can grow on the walls of buildings, bridges, highways, and other concrete structures[3]. The tree is considered a major invasive species in Hawaii, Florida, Bermuda, Central America, and South America.

I love this specis very much due to the Chinese popular song "rong Shu Xia ", it is
a symbol for everlasting plant . ( some lives up to 300 years )It is the first attempt to put the tree in drawing .The tree look young due to the immatured drawing method.
